Durable Industrial Finishing Company (DIFCO) was founded in 1960 and has been operating out of its Tucker location since 1976. Specializing in high-quality, high-volume rack and barrel processing, the nationally recognized electroplating and metal finishing company is one of the largest metal finishing facilities in the Southeast. DIFCO uses highly automated equipment and specializes in zinc electroplating, manganese and zinc phosphating, electroless nickel and GEOMET® zinc flake dip spin coatings for manufacturers and distributors across the nation.

Formerly Dixie Industrial Finishing Co., the company rebranded in 2020 as it celebrated its 60th anniversary. The new name not only reflects the durability of the company as an industry leader, but also the finishing and coatings of its products.

The 175,000 square foot facility, with approximately 75 employees, is located at 4925 S Royal Atlanta Drive and enjoys the benefits of easy access to major highways.

DIFCO recently participated in the Tucker “Back to Work” Job Fair and is looking to fill positions for production associates, maintenance technicians, lab/QC technicians, wastewater treatment operators and a safety or environmental health and safety manager.
